Fantastic of Salt Grit Bins

Having come from areas such as Grampian and Tayside where the councils provide local salt/grit bins for the use of local residents so that they can clear the pavements etc and then grit them. There is a national shortage of salt and it is understood that the supply chain can only meet one fifth of the national demand. The salt delivery allowed Council crews to fill grit bins on Thursday and Friday in response to customer.
